Bottle opener

Jernkontoret’s bottle opener is made from steel powder produced by Höganäs AB.

The opener acquires its shape in a compacting press where it is heated to 1120° C, after which it is hardened and polished.

The hardening process makes the bottle opener so robust and hard-wearing that the manufacturer, ECO Keyrings, offers a lifetime guarantee for the bottle opener.

The key ring is made from spring steel which means that it retains its shape.

Working with steel powder is environmentally intelligent. Resources and energy are used very efficiently, since there is no waste when the product is compacted directly in a mould.

This opener represents a good environmental choice – steel is 100 per cent recyclable.
