Steel research

The iron and steel research undertaken is comprehensive and, in terms of subject matter, broad in scope. Research results are published mainly as technical reports. The open reports are published as part of Jernkontoret’s D series; collected surveys of research programmes, however, may also be published in Jernkontoret’s Annals.

The metal industries in Sweden have jointly issued a strategic agenda under the heading “National Action for Metallic Materials”. Reports and written material from the research programme “The Steel Eco-Cycle” are also available here.
