Since the start of 2015, the steel industry has worked on a joint project with Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), Social value creation in Swedish steel industry.
The purpose of the scenarios is not to depict the most probable future; it is rather to show how different possible futures may appear in a 2050 perspective, on the basis of the project participants’ best judgements in respect of the uncertainty factors that affect development.
