Nordic Certified Reference Materials Working Group (NCRMWG)
The Nordic Certified Reference Materials Working Group, NCRMWG, is a subgroup of Jernkontoret’s technical area 45, Analytical Chemistry (TO 45). The work is carried out in close collaboration with the company Oy Narema Ab.

The Nordic Certified Reference Materials Working Group, NCRMWG, strives to ensure that the Swedish metal industry has access to the most suitable reference materials for the chemical analyses required by the sector. Product-like certified reference materials with precisely determined elemental compositions enable accurate chemical analyses of real production samples. This supports companies’ quality assurance processes and facilitates production with narrow tolerances.
The work is conducted in close collaboration with the Finnish company Oy Narema Ab. NCRMWG also works internationally with its European counterpart, ECRMPG, and the UK-based producer of reference materials, Bureau of Analysed Samples LTD (BAS).
