The project JK 23045, "Optimization of secondary metallurgy with respect to non-metallic inclusions for improved steel properties and production efficiency – focus on special and high alloyed steel production", belongs to the Strategic Steel Research Programme for Sweden 2007–2012 jointly funded by Vinnova and Jernkontoret. The project has been carried out as a close collaboration between Swerea Mefos, Division of Applied Process Metallurgy and Division of Micro Modelling at KTH, Royal Institute of Technology.
